Hydrofacials in Queanbeyan

Cleanse, exfoliate, extract and hydrate in one session

01

What a hydrofacial is

This treatment uses water-based hydrodermabrasion to cleanse, exfoliate, clear congestion and hydrate your skin in a single session. It's gentle enough for most skin types and there's little to no downtime, so you can book one at lunchtime or the week before an event and walk out with fresh, hydrated skin.

Step by step

Most people find the whole treatment relaxing, with a cool, slightly tingly feeling.

  1. 1

    Cleanse

The skin is prepared and surface oil and make-up are removed.

  2. 2

    Exfoliate

A water-based tip lifts away dead skin without scratching.

  3. 3

    Extract

Gentle suction clears congestion from your pores.

  4. 4

    Hydrate

Serums chosen for your skin are worked in.

  5. 5

    Protect

    We finish with sunscreen.

04

Who it suits

It suits dull, dehydrated or congested skin, and skin that's too sensitive for stronger exfoliation. It's also a good fit when you want a visible lift before a wedding, party or photos without any redness to plan around.

Once a month keeps most skin clear and hydrated.

05

Hydrofacial or diamond microdermabrasion?

Both refresh the skin's surface. A hydrofacial relies on water and serums, so it's the softer, more hydrating choice. A water-based treatment between needling sessions keeps skin comfortable.

Diamond microdermabrasion

Uses a diamond tip for firmer exfoliation and suits skin that feels rough or thickened.

Skin needling

For lines and scarring, skin needling is the better fit.

Getting ready

Skip retinol and exfoliating acids for two or three days beforehand, and avoid waxing your face in the same week. You can arrive with make-up on, as we remove it at the start. If you've had injectables, a peel or another skin procedure recently, let us know when you book so Morgan can plan around it.

Prices and booking

Prices are on our hydrofacial prices page, and you can give one as a present through our gift vouchers.

Questions about hydrofacials

What is a hydrofacial?
A hydrofacial is a water-based treatment that cleanses, exfoliates, clears congestion and hydrates the skin in one session, with little to no downtime.
Can I have a hydrofacial before an event?
Yes, it's one of the best times to book one. Leave two to five days between your treatment and the event so your skin has settled and any minor congestion has cleared.
Is a hydrofacial worth it?
If your skin feels dull, dry or congested, or you want fresh skin before an event with no redness, it's a reliable choice. For deeper concerns like scarring, skin needling does more.
How often should I get a hydrofacial?
Monthly suits most people.
Is there any downtime after a hydrofacial?
Very little. Most people go straight back to their day; it's best to leave make-up off until the next morning.
