Your Pre-Wedding Skin Timeline: What to Book and When

Wedding skin isn't about one facial the week before. The best results come from a plan that starts months out, does the active work early, and finishes with gentle treatments so you walk down the aisle with calm, glowing skin. Here's the timeline we build with brides across Queanbeyan, Jerrabomberra, Googong and Bungendore.

Six months out: consultation and skin needling

Book a skin consultation. We'll look at texture, pigmentation, congestion and hydration and set a plan. If scarring, texture or fine lines are a concern, this is when a skin needling course should start: three to four sessions, four to six weeks apart, finishing at least six weeks before the wedding.

Four months out: monthly facials

Alternate hydradermabrasion and hydrofacials monthly to clear congestion and build hydration. Add LED to each visit. Start a simple, consistent home routine with the products we recommend, and wear SPF daily. Now is also the time to trial a brow and lash tint so you know how it looks on you.

Six weeks out: last active treatment

Final skin needling session, if you're doing a course. From here, nothing that causes downtime.

Two weeks out: dermaplaning and hydrofacial

Dermaplaning gives the smoothest base for makeup; a hydrofacial in the same visit plumps and brightens. Brow shaping and tint happen now too.

One week out

• Brow shape and tint, lash tint
• Any waxing
• Manicure and pedicure
• Do not try any new products

Three to five days out

A final LED session for calm, hydrated skin.

Two days out: spray tan

Exfoliate the day before, then have your spray tan two days before the wedding so the colour settles and any guide colour is gone. Rinse as instructed and moisturise well.

The day before

Nothing new. Drink water, sleep, and let us know if anything at all is worrying you.
